My Diecast Car Cases Collection was my first serious hobby as a child and I still collect them these days. My dad introduced me to the hobby and eventually passed on his collection to me. We used to go down to the tracks to watch the NASCAR races all the time so that I could see the “real life” versions from the vehicles we were accumulating. A couple of times we even had the opportunity to meet some from the drivers and pit crews, I don’t think I’ll ever forget that. My son has a pretty nice sized assortment of his own now and when he gets older, I’ll be passing on mine to him. Our combined collection is so large now that we had to set aside a separate room just to hold them all but fortunately my wife doesn’t seem to mind, well not as well much anyway!
